The village of Taüll stands in the
Boí Valley, in the Lleida Pyrenees, precisely in the county of
Alta Ribagorça, 1.500 meter high. This region, close to the Val
d'Aran, the Pallars Sobirà and Jussà, and the Aragon Ribagorza,
is well known for its richness in the romanic art. Among the many, one
can encounter the curches of Sant
Climent and Santa
Maria
de Taüll, both of the 12th century, which have
been declared Humanity
Heritage from UNESCO in the 2000.
